Microsoft have just announced Windows 10 will be released on July 29th 2015. Additionally users on Windows 7 SP1 and Windows 8.1 (not Windows 8), can upgrade for free.
To get the upgrade is simple
- Make sure Windows is up to date
- Launch the Get Windows 10 app from your notifications tray
- Sign up and wait for the download to be released.
